The May San Diego HubSpot User Group was chock-full of inbound knowledge, thought provoking questions and frosty San Diego IPAs. The North County crowd was small but mighty and the accommodations at The Workspace in Carlsbad allowed for great discussion around the topics of the evening.
Hansen Hunt (@unomos) started the evening with a presentation on “Building Conversion Paths.” To recap, Hansen stressed the importance of developing robust customer personas so you can deliver relevant content throughout a conversion path.

Up next we heard from Sean Farias and Nick McCoy who discussed “Enhancing Social Publishing.” Sean and Nick explained why it’s important to set SMART goals for social media campaigns. They also emphasized why companies should interact with followers to remind them living, breathing people (not job stealing robots!) are behind social media accounts.
We wrapped up the evening with some Q&A and group discussion on social media best practices and tools. The North County evening was a success and we can’t wait for the next event on July 19th.
